VERY RALPH, VERY UPSTATE

American fashion icon Ralph Lauren receives his due in award-winning Susan Laceys latest documentary titled Very Ralph. Viewers get to learn more about the man behind the brand and follow his rise from tie designer to building an uber successful fashion empire.

The film will feature commentary from Lauren himself, close family & friends, and industry heads like Anna Wintour, Kayne West, Calvin Klein, Martha Stewart and Hilary Clinton. 

In so many way Ralph Lauren has pushed the boundaries of what fashion really means. He emphasized diversity in his ads, highlighted an undone, no make up look (pioneering the lifestyle category we all love) and even played around with the mix of sport and fashion (think athlesiure).  Whether he was inspired by western style or old hollywood, he helped cultivate the aspirational and cool fashion in our nation thats is recognized world wide.
