LOCAL SPOTLIGHT — LUCKY THIRTY ONE
For this month’s Local Spotlight we had the pleasure of visiting new local boutique Lucky Thirty One located in Beacon, NY. This super cute women’s clothing boutique opened its doors in November after initially being an online store. Owner, Yvette greeted us with a warm and comforting smile as soon as we walked in. She even so kindly offered water and candy, which was out by the registers for customers to take! Much like our initial encounter with her, the store itself gave us all the cozy feeeels.
Nestled in the heart of Main Street, this women’s clothing boutique features some beautifully bold black steps, window trim and door leading to an open, polished retail space. Our favorite section of the store was the seating area by the front windows with the coziest pillows and amazing natural lighting. It’s the perfect spot to stop and look out at Main Street beacon. It’s also hard not to fall in love with their sliding barn doors leading to their back room, it adds an even cozier feel to this lovely space.
Everything we saw (and especially touched) was so beyond soft and cozy that it was hard not to buy one of everything. From sherpa outerwear to lace bralettes layered under butter soft sweaters, this store embodies effortless style. Customers will find an array of cute but casual styles including camper graphic tee, tencel overalls and light-weight cargo joggers (just to name a few of our faves). We also caught a small taste of the Spring collection and it unmistakably follows this cozy Hudson Valley lifestyle. We’re super excited to return and see the full collection soon!
When it comes to curating her store Yvette is very aware of what consumers can easily find at department stores & straying away from that. She focuses on unique style, fits, colors and feels (still thinking about how soft everything was!). Yvette recently came back from fashion marketplace, Magic, out in Las Vegas, where she was able to handpick new styles for the store. This girl is going the lengths to find new and unique styles for her customers.
We’re SO happy to have found this awesome spot in Beacon & seriously can’t wait to go back and see what new! We love visiting local spots like Lucky Thirty One and discovering what makes them uniquely them. This incredibly cozy shop is a must try if you’re ever in the area! Where should we head to next?
